WELCOME TO THE 2010 TED POWELL MEMORIAL RACE WEEKEND Dates: July 22nd through July 25th.Thursday July 22nd, Motorsport Club of Ottawa lapping day LONG TRACK. Register on this site. Go to the main page under disciplines/ lapping/ and click on the karelo link or you can click here.Friday, July 23rd, registration and CASC test and tune EAST TRACK. You can register here or register at the track between 7 and 9am on Friday. $300.00 before midnight July 21st, $350.00 afterwards.Saturday and Sunday, racing commences. THIS YEARS RACE WEEKEND WILL BE HELD ON THE EAST OR STADIUM TRACK Sound levels will be at 104DB for the weekend as measured by the Calabogie staff decimeter. There is camping on site for competitors and volunteers and for spectators there are camping areas are close by. See the links listed below. For those arriving outside of registration hours (i.e. Saturday after 12PM) there should be someone in the Registration @ CMP Admin to get you registered. For 2010 there will be no reserved paddock spaces. First come first served. If you want to park near your buddy you arrange to get there together. DIRECTIONS TO CALABOGIE Traveling from Toronto Highway 401 East to Belleville,3rd Exit Hwy 37 N through Tweed to Hwy 7;right on Hwy 7 to 1st set of traffic lights at Perth;left onto Highway 511 through to Calabogie.Wilson Farm Road is on the right side as you near Calabogie.Look for a white House.BarryVale Road is on the left side of the intersection.The facility is 2 kilometers down the Wilson Farm Road. Traveling from Ottawa/Montreal Highway 417 West,continue past Arnprior approx 7 kilometers;turn left onto Calabogie Road (Hwy 508) to Calabogie.As you enter Calabogie, turn left on Highway 511.Four kilometers out of Calabogie, look for a white house on the left, turn left on Wilson FarmRoad. Similar amenities are available in the nearby towns of Arnprior, Perth and Renfrew. Further accommodation is available 50 minutes away in Kanata. Book early to avoid disappointments when booking. CAMPING There is now camping at the race track for competitors and volunteers and there are two nearby campsites for spectators (see below).
