Cheap Dyno Day $60

Postby GoesFilled » Wed Jun 11, 2008 5:23 pm

Hey all

I'm part of the local VW club (www.ottawa-vdubbing.com) and I'm organizing out Annual Dyno Day at Tapp Auto.

We're a little short of what we'd like this year participation wise...I've got 4 or 5 spots up for grabs.

I thought as treat / to fill the day out I'd extend the invite here. I've got a soft spot for VW/AUDI/Porsche, etc. But anything interesting would be awesome...Formula, Touring Car, anything loud :P

COST: $60* for 3 pulls on the Dyno

**Note: this is NOT a test/tune day. It's just strap it down, do 3 pulls, and roll off knowing what your car is ACTUALLY pulling.

WHEN:

Sat, June 21 Starting @ 9am

WHERE:

Tapp Auto Service www.tappauto.com
39 Cleopatra Drive, Ottawa

Spectators are welcome - feel free to bring chairs (and earplugs).

My car is none of the above and neither interesting or loud, but I would want to test my car some day to find out what it's got now. Let me see if i can fit it in, how late can I let you know.

If you will allow a stock S2000 count me in. I want to see what I'm starting with before adding parts.

Klaus - Your car sounds perfect!

RootMoose - I'm trying to get a few race cars to spice the event up a little. Barring a deluge, we should be able to get you in though.

I'm in just for chits and giggles.

When putting my racecar back together after working on it, it's always lighter - for some reason I always have parts leftover on the workbench.
