Mandatory Paperwork
For you to participate, the series organizers must have each of the following forms completed and filed for you and your car:

- 2012 MCO SoloII Registration Form
- 2012 MCO SoloII Self-Tech Form

Both can be found here: http://www.mco.org/cms/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=270:autox-rules-2012&catid=12:autocross&Itemid=15

Complete the forms and bring them with you. Note that if you're note mechanically proficient, you should consider having your Self-Tech form completed by a professional mechanic. We recommend Canadian Tire on Carling -- call ahead and ask for Ralf.

The background information series rules and classing necessary to complete your registration form can be found here: http://www.mco.org/cms/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=270:autox-rules-2012&catid=12:autocross&Itemid=15. It is your responsibility to read and understand fully of this material.

Notes About Registration
If you have a competition number that has been confirmed to be yours by series organizers (see this thread: http://www.mco.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14150 ), be sure to enter that number into Karelo when registering. If you have a number but fail to enter it into Karelo, a volunteer has to look you up on the system, find your number and enter it manually so that the timing software doesn't create a duplicate of you and assign it all of your points for that event.

If you do not have a number, contact el_torpedo or see the above thread to get a number before registering. [/b]

As well, please double check that your class is correctly displayed in Karelo. There are several cars which continually show up incorrectly because of errors in the Karelo save data feature, and it adds a surprising amount of time to my night prior to the event trying to get things sorted.

Entering a number into Karelo that you haven't already reserved in one of the ways above has following effects:
- you make a volunteer take time out of his Friday or Saturday night searching for registrants who have tried to claim numbers that aren't theirs, thereby frustrating the process of setting-up timing for the event
- you really annoy the volunteer, who more often than not, does timing at the event and knows everyone by name, face, and car.

I've got a question reguarding weather and the upcoming event...There is a small potential for rain on Sunday.
Do we still run in the rain? Yes /No ??? If it's pouring in the morning do we still show up ?
If an event gets cancelled due to weather, does it get reschedule?

Thanks in Advance,
Linogyver...

Rain or shine we will be there. Unless there is thunderstorms and it is unsafe to drive or stand marshaling the event will go on.

I've never seen an event cancelled, we've ended early in very bad weather but that's the worse I've seen.

Also note: They called for Rain yesterday and I didn't see any. Also was suppose to rain today, nope not a drop here. So yeah...

Both register as non-member on the same car. It cost them 45$ each vs 34$ each.

Yeah... Karelo and I'm pretty sure they each need to fill one of these out and get a competitor number: http://www.mco.org/cms/attachments/270_ ... 20form.pdf

seems complicated to have friends for one event :?

So if they both register with Karelo, how will they register for Sunday's event... they don't have car numbers?

Everyone needs to fill out forms to compete, we don't just do it for fun it's a liability issue. Go here to find an available number: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14150 . Reply to the thread with the #'s you want for them, make sure that they are not too close to your own #, spacing by 100 works for my co-driver. Then register in Karelo.

It's not that bad, takes 5 like minutes to fill the forms. Get ready for a busy day with 3 drivers on one car

I understand filling out forms, thats not a problem, it's just that the number is required when registering with Karelo... I'll check what numbers are available.

I'll have my car, so it's 2 guys on one car not three 8-)

We don't mean register as a member, but register for the event. There is the MCO Membership available online, but each event has its own individual online registration. Everyone has to do it, for every event. The link to Karelo at the top of this thread will take you directly to this events registration.

The competitor registration form I linked must be filled out once per season, per competitor, on top of the Karelo event registration.
