St. LAC at SMP -- May 31, 2010

Hello All,

St. LAC will be hosting a day at Shannonville Motorsports Park on May 31, 2010. This is a full day event on the long track (4.03 km), for $150. I know that some of you find SMP a bit tame after Calabogie and Mosport, but it does offer a rewarding and relatively safe introduction to HPDE. We are planning on three run groups, but we may end up with two depending on numbers. To register, please contact me at switzerr@gmail.com, or PM me on this board. Payment via Interac e-transfer is the preferred method, although you can also mail me a cheque, or use paypal.

Your track fees for the day will include a catered lunch.

Just realized that the 29-30th is the Picton Double Header this year. This might turn out to be quite the expensive weekend.

It is, indeed, a Monday. We had a lot of positive feedback last year about havng the day on a Monday. Many partiicpants enjoyed having the weekend to prepare their cars. Of course, it is also the double-header weekend -- but what can you do?

I'll open Hotel Switzer to reduce costs for people.

LOL i was waiting for someone to catch that! It is what it is though... local AutoXs are cheaper, especially since I have to tow my car, and I'd rather save my money for Calabogie lapping. Too bad though, I was looking forward to this:(
