Craig Seko is still working on details. Something will be out soon. Having three days of lapping right in our back yard right at the start of the season is awesome. You can run down to Belleville and hotel it etc or drive an hour.

info soon.

Sorry, work has been a b*tch -I was hoping to get this done today, but didn't have a chance to make the calls I needed to make to finalize the last details to set this up ...

Well our CCTCC car will be there. Its still eligible. Think I can borrow another 50HP or so and we can run laps together?

Was it 92db last year? I'm not concerned as long as it is unchanged ... if they drop it though it could be a challenge :)

Yeah, we build geriatric friendly race cars :D We'll have a swappable muffler on it, as was on my car previously (which was ok at 92db).

It's a max of 100 dB at 2/3 red line in the paddock, with no single reading over 104; then 92 dB at 50 ft anywhere on the track. Same as last year.

Okay folks, I'm waiting for the track to call me back so I can make sure this event is do-able. I need to talk to them to make sure the track-sharing scheme that Chuck, Nigel, Sam and myself worked up will work.

(How quickly, and what is needed to split/re-configure the tracks determines the price, so, um, hold tight, please .)

I will pull a list of registrants of the April 30th event later tonight. Those registrants will be e-mailed a link to a Karelo private event (hidden) to register.

Sorry about the delay ...

Nuts. Just heard back from CMP and I'm going to have to redo the schedule  - which I'll do tonight :| . Then I can run the budget and figure out the price 8-) .

First post updated with description and prices.

There may - may - be one pair of sessions on the West track, otherwise it is East track, and Full track Sunday afternoon.

You will be getting a ton of track time.

Karelo links to be posted as soon as I get the forms updated.

The "special deal" for those that signed up early for the Friday will be $250+GST for the weekend.

(I must be insane. :insane: )

BTW, if you're wondering what "priority" means, it means, for example, that if there is a mechanical or something on track, then when we start running again, then the race school loses no track time. There is generally little overlap between the two events, but just so people understand. Behave yourselves and there will be no problem. :D

Sounds great but I'm confused

First post says $350 for Friday, Sat and Sun and this post says $250 if you signed up for Friday for the weekend, is that for all 3 days?

Anywho. How much for just sat or just sun, or just for the weekend (not friday) I can't make it friday unfortunately.

Is anyone going to do all 3? That's insane IMO but fill your boots :)

Oops, thanks for the catch  First post corrected.

For Saturday, May 1, and Sunday, May 2:
- MCO members: $350 (+GST) if you register before April 25, $400 (+GST) afterwards until April 29th at 5:00pm
- non-MCO members: $375 (+GST) if you register before April 25, $425 (+GST) afterward until April 29th at 5:00pm.
- if available, walk-ups are $500 cash only until 08h00 May 1st.

The people who signed up for Friday before the March 25th deadline get the Saturday/Sunday for $250 (+GST) if they register before April 25th, $300 (+GST) afterward until April 29th at 5:00pm.

Can one split the two days with another driver / car? Say if someone only wanted to go for one of the two days Sat or Sun? Or is this strictly a 2 day deal.

Does sound great though, 2 days for $350 can't be beat (unless you get it for $250 ;) )

The Karelo sign-up pages are done; everything is ready - except the sign-up form needs a slight change. It usually takes the Karelo folks a day or two to take care of minor changes, so I would guess Tuesday/Wednesday.

Sorry, two-day deal. Chuck and I did discuss the possibility, but decided against it.

Registration, tech, and noise check won't be running on Sunday morning, and the Sunday driver's meeting will assume that people were there on the Saturday.

Just to make sure;

To qualify for the May dates does one still have to be paid up for April 30th? I am inquiring for a non member who can make it on the weekend. This requirement was mentioned on your earlier post, but I no longer see it.

Can one sign up for either Sat or Sun @ 1/2 the cost, or is it a 2 day deal. (I can only make the Sat)

Was there not to be an e-mail, to those who had signed up for April 30th, with details?

Craig,

There is no fee option in the drop down at present.

For those who signed up early for April 30, will we see a special fee option in the drop down?
