Looks like I'm out..... I have a big job finishing up and can't get out of work early. I also don't think I have enough rubber to do more than one more lapping day, I'll havr to save it for Sept 6th.....

The first hour of the event was a total waste of time. The second was good. Paid $125; there were way more than 30 cars, should we expect a rebate?

The first black flag was for a Turtle and that brought everybody in for 10min till it was cleared.

Then we had no idea those CMP 'Mustang Experience" cars were going to be there and they were not at the drivers meeting. They were running a very slo pace (50km/h) and clearly had different passing rules. They thought we only had about 10 cars on track and wouldn't be in the way. I was ontrack when they came out and it made no sense to me, once people started passing them any way they could, they radioed in for a black flag. After a short chat we were back on proper pace again and so were the mustangs.

Yes it was frustrating, however, it's their track. So nothing we can do but say thankyou for the chance at affordable evening lapping.
I'm sure we won't see anything like that happen again. Well we might see more turtles.

As for the rebate, I'm not sure but will find out from Pat.

Pat gave out refunds to about a dozen drivers Friday, so he must have missed you.

Give him an email if you were missed. pat@speedmerchants.ca
