Carl, if your stocking hans and defenders better order tons more. CASC will be mandating them to race next year in Ontario is the rumour.
I'll find out this weekend for sure. Wouldn't be surprised if Quebec does also as the orders coming from ASN apparently.

I always have plenty of HANS in stock.
I know that SCCA started this year mandating the devices. I think that realistically implementing the rule in 2012 and enforcing 100% in 2013 is the way to go.
Either way, i will race with my HANS , mandated or not.

As for the Defender, I think they are out of production and not approved for competition by SCCA. I think Trackmart may have some still but not sure if accepted everywhere, I am sure Jay will chime in at one point.

I agree with the implementation but CASC is known to just hammer down. This season we had problems with them
and the sticker implementation. They finally agreed to somewhat of what your saying.
