ASE Time Attack -- St-Eustache

Yesterday was the first event of the 2012 ASE Time Attack series at the Autodrome St-Eustache. The event was very well run and the competition was stiff with many extremely fast drivers and cars. That said, the Ottawa area was well represented with two of the five fastest raw times of the day. I'll let these people proudly post their own stories and videos.

Here's a video from my second timed session, chasing down a 911 GT3-RS. I set a personal best time of 1:00.923 on the second hot lap which was good enough for 4th place in the rear wheel drive street tire class. The top five times in this class were all between 1:00.013 and 1:00.986!

The next event is in two weeks: June 3rd! Myself and others from Ottawa will be there without a doubt. This series is definitely another good opportunity for anyone who wants to get into time attack or just get some intense seat time.

Event number four is coming up this Saturday, and is part of a triathlon weekend of racing! I'm really looking forward to another crack at the RWD street tire class. Three podiums, but yet to be at the top.

Let's get some more Ontario drivers over there; gotta remind them that Ontarians can drive fast, too.
