MOSPORT BIG TRACK, presented by AGINCOURT AUTOHAUS

Saturday, August 22nd - Test & Tune - $325 until Aug. 12th, or $350 until the day of.
- this will be pretty much just like an MCO lapping event. (The main reason it isn't called lapping is the rules - the organizers will be setting up timing equipment for use on Sunday - you won't be able to get times, but we still can't call it lapping.)

Sunday, August 23 - Event #6 - $150 until Aug. 12th, or $160 until the day of.
- expect two to four timed sessions. (A session is usually a warm-up lap, three hot laps, cool-down lap.)

So 22nd or 12th? ;) I'll assume it's the 22nd since that is a weekend.

Will there be any "instructors" on the test and tune day?

The event is on the 22 and 23. If you pay before the 12, then you get the discounted rate.

AFAIK, "yes," informally.

Ah reading quickly OWNS me.

Another question. Do you have to have the Grade C license for the test and tune day? If so -- $60 more?

You won't need to pay $60 extra.

I don't know if a licence is needed for the test'n'tune day. I haven't seen the supps yet. (Licencing is a function of back-end organization.)

If a licence is needed, then a temporary licence can be issued that is only good for that day. (Typically you bring a completed and signed driver's licence application to registration. http://casc.on.ca/forms/licenceformdvr07.pdf - skip the payment info section)

For the Sunday competition, a one-day Class C licence is available. There may be a $10 fee for this on the Sunday, primarily to make the $60 licence attractive if one runs the series.

So, to update, it isn't like an MCO day where there are a group of dedicated instructors available.

However, there should be one, maybe two people around if you want someone to go with you for a session or so.

... and, no Class C licence needed on Saturday.

... and, the discounted rate is being held until the day of the event (if I understand correctly).

Click for supp regs for Saturday test'n'tune

Note drivers and Passengers need to be at least 16 years old, and be wearing a proper fitting Snell M2000 or better helmet, long sleeved shirt, long pants, and covered shoes (not sandals.) DOT only helmet classification is not adequate.

Convertibles have to meet 2009 SoloSprint regs.
