MCO is hosting ONTARIO TIME ATTACK June 9/10

Postby msix » Tue May 22, 2012 7:00 pm

Together with HADA as the Co-organizer, MCO will be hosting event number 3 & 4 of the ONTARIO TIME ATTACK 2012 season at Shannonville on June 9th and 10th.

We will be running Pro track on Saturday and Long track on Sunday. There is lots of lapping in the morning, timed sessions in the afternoon.

ONTARIO TIME ATTACK provides the best base for every car to be classified in a competitive group.

We are looking for your support to make this a successful event for the MCO, whether you are driving or just come to watch or help out.

Information on how to register as driver is in this link: http://www.casc.on.ca/timeattack

Thank you

I would like to say THANK YOU to JP Walsh who was in Shannonville and helped me all weekend with the event. On Saturday he did a great job on the BBQ alongside Jeff Lowe and on Sunday he stood in the sun all day and did the Pit-out. JP also supplied the beverages for the evening dinner, thank you!
A big THANK YOU goes to Jeff, who helped in the pit lane with the gridding on Saturday and then did a super job on the BBQ. And also to David Butler who made the trip to Shannonville to help us.

Fellow MCO competitor Pierre L. supplied the Timmies for Sunday morning breakfast, THANK YOU, especially from the Campers.

Thanks to all other volunteers that came out to help without competing, everybody else that worked and competed, like the Timing team, the Grid marshalls, Stewarts and Clerks and to OTA for providing everything else to run such great events.

Overall it was a very successfull weekend, some rain on Saturday made the day very intersting and a hot day on Sunday caused a lot of attrition and a dwindling field throughout the afternoon. The official results are not posted yet and I believe we had the most competitiors at Shannonville for a Time Attack event in a long time.

Thanks to John P and HADA for a great day on Saturday and all the help he provided to make it easy for us on Sunday.
