LHFR 2017 is a GO!

Postby uglydogrally » 2017.03.14 12:58:49 PM

Recent news from the organizer is that Round 2 of the OPRC has been approved by the township and is moving forward!

The 2017 edition will be Headquartered out of the Tatlock Community Hall on May 6 & 7 this year. Located on Hwy 9 & 7th Con Darling in Mississippi Mills. We will be featuring a new road this year, along with the iconic Lavant Mill Rd. Shorter transits and more stage mileage! Recce and the banquet will take place on May 6, while May 7th is dedicated to racing!

LHFR will need you here as a competitor or volunteer on May 6 & 7. Please visit http://www.lhfr.ca for more details as they come about!

Good news! :-)

One small correction, guys -- from someone who lives in the area. Darling is located in the Township of Lanark Highlands. The Town of Mississippi Mills starts just west of Clayton. I don't know how to post a map here, or I would.

Yes, Google can get you really mixed up!

The LHFR website describes the location as either in Almonte, or Missiissippi Mills.

Rally HQ will be at the Tatlock Community Hall located here:

Thanks, Ferd. Tatlock is about 10 km NW of us, in the Lanark Highlands, not far from Highway 511. The map helps!

No sprint planned as of yet this year, it definitely will not be runnning along side LHFR as it did last year.

There is one or two in the planning and development stage for later this year, but nothing firm that can be officially announced as of yet.

Cheers!

We are now up to 15 entries, and still in need of more workers! We need 60-80 volunteers to help make this event successful!
