is it road legal? that's the sort of thing I want myself. I don't like staring straight at cones from 3" off the ground.

Be one with the Cones Grasshopper :ugeek:

It's in quebec now and they *claim* it was plated... but like one little Red car - I would be concerned about being pulled over

I know just because it's gutted and has a Roll cage doesn't mean its a full out *race Car* and should NOT be street legal.
And long as it has Sun Visors its legal in Quebec

I don't want a Grown up car  I'm starting to wonder if I could buy a Classic Mini shell and put the Miata running gear under it - the opposite of a Westfield - in stead of making it lower and longer - taller and shorter... ( yes yes - in know its a Wacky idea.) but it just might work) - and it would be lighter

There was a classic Mini at Picton this weekend that had a Honda K20 attached to a Honda CRV AWD driveline. Looked great sitting there but I didn't really get to see it run (in the same run group).

He was pretty damn quick actually. 102.375 on Sat and 97.023 on Sun. Good for 14th and 15th in raw time respectively.

Huh !

There was a guy at the Mini club talkign about putting a AWD setup in a Classic mini - I wonder if it was him ?

There is a standard conversion kit for Mini - Honda conversions, its about 10K + engine !
