Thanks Pat! I couldn't figure out myself. So I'm BSP (B Street Prepared). Like you said I don't plan in winning anything, just have fun. I just want to simplify Saturday's registration.

Boo!!! I'm in STU and was hoping you'd join me. BTW, rollbar and fire extinguisher points are normally such that they can only offset weight reduction points, not any type of points.

Chris, S2K would either be AS or BSS or BSP depending on how many points you do. Pretty sure your wheels dump you into BSS automatically though...

So, I think +11 points... Are there other points besides +1 for non-OEM wheels? I didn't see anything specific beyond that. (front is +2.5", rear is +3").

BSS?

+11 would be BSP I think. One thing to remember, when adding points, if the check mark has a * beside it for the class you're in, then you don't take the points. For example, non OEM sized wheels. In stock they only have a check, so you take those points. In SS and SP they have a * beside the check so you don't take the points if you're in those classes.

Clear as mud?

Seriously - not the most user friendly.

Assuming the Protege makes it this weekend (Everybody leave Ralf alone so his guys can fix my car!!!!), I think I've got my class sorted out.

Thanks for the help Pat.

So, cancel that. Me and dave will not be coming.. Unfortunately, he can't find his insurance papers for the miata. We will only have them by Monday evening.
Since he got a warning the other night for that, not risking a 3 hr drive without that little paper...

Insurance company will fax you a temp copy on the spot if you call them. Try to come, you won't regret it.

I might be in STU too, depends on the LSD rule:

K. Limited Slip Differentials
ST1, ST2 – No limited slip differentials are permitted except for factory standard viscous coupler type
units.

I have the factory LSD, but I believe it's a clutch type. Does that mean I'm in STU?

If it's factory OEM, not dealer installed, not aftermarket, you don't need to be in STU.

looks like ST1 - forced induction less than 2.0L if I read that correctly.
SuperStock if I ran the v710's, but I'm not.

I'm aiming to leave the house at 4:30am, stop at Timmies and jump on the highway.
I'll need to refuel in Kingston (gas AND coffee) and I want to be in Picton before 8am.
See you guys there!

As was stated earlier, the insurance should be able to email you a temp copy so you can use your car ASAP.

I only JUST remembered that the Protege only had fire and theft on it. Spent 30 minutes on the phone and had a PDF copy emailed to me within 20 minutes after the phone call.

BOOM!

If you WANT to get there, you'll find a way to do it ;)

OK change of plans - I'm still in O-town. I'm meeting Subaphil at Bankfield around 4:45 and leaving at 5am sharp.

cell is 613 762 6757 if you need to get a hold of me.
