How big is the file? Taking a dog year to download...

Great work guys! Took awhile but was worth the wait!

[Posting from the screened-in porch 1 street in from the beach]

Thanks for the positive feedback guys :) I know Steve doesn't browse the forums very often so I will make sure to pass it along to him.

James,
The posted file is something like 12MB. The file that's going to print is somewhere in the neighborhood of 32MB (higher quality).

Big thanks to everybody who submitted content, pictures, or ideas. Getting the first issue out (in electronic format anyways) was our first major hurtle. I know I learned a lot (mainly about using Publisher and filing emails ) and I'm excited to start working on the printed copy and the October edition when I get back.

Cheers!

To Jeff and Steve: WOW!

I hadn't been able to add my comments since I have no-speed Internet with not a tiny hope in hell of downloading The Link. However, I spent some time at the dealer's a few days ago, waiting for my alignment (which is great!) and took the opportunity to download the July edition. The layout was beautifully done, complemented by lots of photos that contributors had sent in.

Sadly, I didn't have the time to sit and read it all, but plan to do so when (I hope) Jeff or Steve gets a chance to print a few copies. :poke:

I am particularly looking forward to the October edition, as I want to send my story to Team O'Neil.

Huge thanks to both of you -- not only for taking this job on, but for doing such a great job! :chug:

Thanks Jeannie!

We appreciate the feedback :D!

The October issue has dragged on a little (why do I set such high expectations for myself?! AHH!) but it's coming together.
Both issues will be printed so don't worry ;)
