It's not a big deal. I like to get other skilled drivers to drive my car so I can get a feel for how far off the pace I am either from a driver or hardware perspective.
On the weekend I ended up with a ~52.4 or something like that. Playing back the course in my mind I think I left between 0.5 - 1.0 seconds for various reasons. So that means I'm implying that my car is not capable of FTD (~49.7). If I get someone else to drive my car then I have a frame of reference to compare against and can either call BS on myself and work to drive better or start waffling about another gizmo for the car.
Plus, it's fun to drive other cars.
