THE LINK - Still running but only on fumes

All,

I'll be blunt - we need your help.

The next edition of The LINK that was slated to be released in January was delayed due to a lack of content at the time of release. The edition was delayed knowing that we had a number of significant milestones coming in the near future (february) with 1) The wrap up of the snow-x season 2) The wrap of the winter driving schools and 3) The 2012 MCO Ice Race.

In order to make our next edition a success, the editorial staff needs volunteers to tackle the following projects:

1- Snow-X Recaps: Individual Event write-ups are welcome. Tell us about your weekend experience. If someone has attended all the events and wants to do an overall recap, that'd be great.

2- Winter Driving School: Give us your feedback, tell us about your experience participating in or volunteering at the Winter Driving Schools

3- 2012 MCO Ice Race: Write ups, recaps, personal experiences, etc etc etc. Pictures are also needed.

Work on your own, get together as a team to tackle these items, it doesn't matter - we just need content and we feel that these stories would be great additions.

I've not been involved in the winter stuff, but I just signed up for the 3-day Race License Course at the Bridgestone Racing Academy, in May. I could probably do a write-up on that if you like.

That would be great. That could go in our "summer" edition.

We need still need LOTS of content for the "spring" edition

Come on people. Tell me about how you made your engine-block BBQ, tell me about the time you almost won a grueling 150 lap forza race but then the power went out, what's your favorite thing to do outside of racing? Rationalize why your "sand zen garden" has an exact replica of the UAE race track.

Oh the pitiful cries of a Link editor ... 'twas ever thus. I'll try to get Miscellaneous Rumblings II back ... sometime after I get rid of all the alligators who're lining up to get a bite of my arse. If I can make a suggestion, though, you could go back to previous editions and use some oldies but goodies as fillers. Feel free to use any of my ramblings if you wish.

I'm trying to avoid going back and posting old stuff unless it was a real marquee story.
