Ontario Time Attack & AutoSlalom Open House to be held at CSC Racing, 125A Harry Walker Parkway, Newmarket, ON from 1pm to 4pm.

Hope many of you will be able to make it to CSC Racing for this offical season opening event!!!

Copied from the CASC forum, here are a few pointers re the upcoming Open House at CSC racing on April 1/2012

1) Start time is 1 PM

2) Print your forms at http://www.time-attack.ca and bring them. There will be a limited supply at the Open House. Special discounts apply at the Open House.

3) It is NOT necessary to have your car classified to register for the series. That being said some people have a lot of difficulty understanding the ins and outs of dyno plots, curb wgt submissions and other intricasies of the rule set. To help sort some of these issues out, the Car Classification Committee will be running a seminar starting at 12:15 on various issues with car classification. As you can see this is BEFORE the Open House starts. We will have to work around some space issues but CSC has kindly offered to let us use some of their shop for this purpose. This is not intended for experienced competitors with one or two questions which can be forwarded to the CCC but more for new competitors to understand our rule book.

4) It IS necessary to have your car classified to run in the series. The forms will direct you to the car classification website. Please do NOT submit a final classification approval request until you have your final classification done. The CCC is too busy to look at fantasy car classifications or into cars that are not seriously going to run in the series.

There were a few people interested to attend the Ontario Time Attack series in 2012. Let me know if you need help for classifying your car or registering for the season.

If you can not make it to the CSC opening day next Sunday, I could take the registration (and money) to Toronto for you next week - if you have the forms all filled out correctly.

BTW, this also applies to the Regional Solo 2 registration.
