Race car builders/fabricators - reality TV

My question - probably the first of several depending on your response:

I would like to know where to go in Ottawa f I were looking for a race car builder/fabricator?

Background:

I’m gathering information to ensure that Ottawa has the required infrastructure to support a proposed reality show with motorsports as its central theme. The show involves various aspects of motorsports including “builds”. The “builds” will start with regular production cars (value to be determined). Teams will transform their cars into track cars that will be raced (on a road course) in each episode.

I’m looking for several fabricators to oversee the “builds” that will be part of the show. It's early in the process - I’m trying to identify interested/interesting people and to get their contact information. Anyone who has a video clip of their work would be great.

Not really any race shops in Ottawa, but we're working on it! We've built race cars, though we're not a commercial shop yet. Other places might be Ken Baird's shop Main Street Automotive in North Gower, Ian's shop Metric Auto (regular garage, but also works on race cars) ... that's about all I know of?

Both Ken and Ian are perfect examples of people who've worked on race car builds.

Ian just finished (will be finishing this week) one car and is building a cage for my race car as well.

There seem to be many individuals and groups of individuals in the Ottawa area who build/prep race cars as a hobby. There are two CTCC teams that I know of based in Ottawa. However there seem to be few who do it for a living.

SpeedMerchants builds their own track cars and they are a MultiMatic dealership as well.

Stu Trudel for cages from Montreal through to Toronto. Best in the business. He's in Cumberland township.
Joe Cavanaugh for race engines. Formerly of Bells Corner Auto Parts.
Tonik Motorsports- Warren Haywood- rally race cars. Complete.
Tommy Kenyon- Kenyon racing- anything from stock cars to trans am chassis. He also built all of Calabogies Mustangs.

There s a ton of people in Ottawa. They're just hidden away working away.
