TIFOSI LOUNGE CHARITY EVENT

Our TIFOSI MOTORSPORT CLUBHOUSE has made the CHILDREN'S WISH FOUNDATION OUR CHARITY OF CHOICE and have organized a February 17th event. Our objective is to realize at least one WISH for a special child in 2008 which means we will raise at least $10,000 in addition to providing some terrific FUN TIMES to the many that will attend the fundraiser.

We picked this date because, as a motor sport club, we understand the importance of the DAYTONA 500 and that it is the 50th Anniversary of this terrific event. As a result of marrying our charity to this club event, we have attracted the participation of some major sponsors and collaborators providing us with media support as well as amazing prizes to help raise the funds:

- Our local CTV affiliate with its principal, MAX KEEPING who is also the charity's HONORARY CHAIR
- CTV is actively working on confirming details for TSN participation and some (hopefully) NASCAR assistance.
- Our major Jeweller in the region, JUBILEE FINE JEWELLERS that is providing us with high-end TAG HEUER Watches (NASCAR & F1) exclusive products for draws and auctions.
- The SCOTIABANK GROUP that will be matching up to $5,000 in funds raised!!
- Other Media partners will be confirmed within the next day or so as I am meeting with them today and tomorrow. I can confirm these later.

We are awaiting some news from NASCAR about what they could do to complement our efforts...

Also, we have already sold 16 of the 30 Corporate Tables ($200 for 10 people!!) to help us raise the funds on that day!! People are rallying to help with this most worthy cause!
