The Motorsport Club of Ottawa (MCO) is a provincially incorporated, not-for-profit organization run entirely by volunteers committed to combining the fun and community of amateur, grass-roots motorsports with responsible management and transparency.
We offer year-round activities for Ottawa-area car enthusiasts, both competitive and educational; all with safety, sanctioning and insurance in mind.
Monthly meetings? Not really our speed. Rather, come check out one of our events, even if just as a spectator. There’s no better way to see who we are and what we’re about. We’re super friendly and love newcomers, regardless of who you are, your background, or your experience level.
What kind of stuff do we do? Currently, we do all the stuff below, but if someone is ready to volunteer their efforts to try something new, our Board of Directors will be all ears.
- an extremely active autocross championship series run from the Canadian Tire Centre;
- lapping days and track-based high-performance driver education days at Calabogie Motorsports Park, our local track an hour west of town;
- rallycross at Capital City Speedway in the west end of Ottawa, held in the winter months using a groomed combination snow and dirt track;
- super accessible and ridiculously fun ice racing that let’s anyone go wheel-to-wheel racing for a fraction of the cost you’d imagine; and
- a road race marshal training program.
